Finding the Right Local Contractor Shouldn’t Be This Hard
Most homeowners don’t wake up knowing they need a roofer, a plumber, or an HVAC contractor. Instead, they wake up knowing something is wrong — and then the real headache begins.
For example, a leaking ceiling could be a roofing issue, a plumbing leak, or damaged flashing. Likewise, a sticking front door might be caused by humidity, settling, or foundation movement. Of course, the average homeowner isn’t expected to know the difference — and that’s exactly why crewASAP exists, so you can find the right local contractor without the guesswork.
Why We Built crewASAP
The idea didn’t come from a boardroom. In fact, it came from a deck build.
I was helping my son Austin on a project one afternoon when I noticed him checking his watch again and again. At first, I assumed he needed to be somewhere. After about the fourth glance, I finally asked, “Do you need to go?” He said no.
As it turned out, those notifications weren’t reminders — they were missed calls. Homeowners were trying to reach him while he was on a ladder, in a crawlspace, or on a roof, doing the work he was hired to do. So I asked how often that happened.
“All day. Every day.”

Here was a skilled contractor doing quality work, serving real customers, and growing his business — yet quietly losing opportunities because he was too busy working to answer the phone. What the Automotive World Taught Me
Before building crewASAP, I spent years in the automotive industry, watching how people interact with businesses. Because that same friction existed in home services, and nobody was solving it for the local Cincinnati market, I decided to build something better.
